CSS Float Left, Float Right, Clear Both

And just when you thought CSS was starting to make sense, you try to line one thing along next to another thing, and you see CSS float left, float right and clear both. Right, all that float stuff makes sense doesn´t it.

Much of CSS code make is understandable, like font-family, or text-align, or width equals 100px, but float left, float right, clear both. What the heck is that all about.

Here is another concept that took me many months just to get around the words being used. Float What? More like Whatever!
